Meet Leonie Yeap

(She/Her)
Physiotherapist
Three words to describe me:
Warm, calm and practical
Consulting days:
Wednesday and Friday
Qualifications & Experience:

Leonie's interest in pelvic health started during a final year undergraduate elective. This soon grew into a passion in the early years of her physio career. She joined Pelvic Health Matters over 20 years ago.  Today, she has extensive experience treating a wide range of pelvic health conditions and is an APA Titled Women's, Men's & Pelvic Health Physiotherapist. Leonie really enjoys looking after her patients and has a calm and practical approach to improving their pelvic health.

In addition to her consulting role, she also keeps herself busy overseeing the Pelvic Health Matters Service. This means overseeing operations and leading the Reception and  Physiotherapy Teams, mentoring and delivering regular professional development presentations. She's also lectured and tutored at The University of Melbourne's Postgraduate Pelvic Health Physiotherapy program.

When Leonie's not working:
She loves hiking with friends, getting lost in a good book, eating too much chocolate, spending time with family and finding time for moments of peace and quiet in nature.
